Spoke to your good friend Lars Stindle at Gladbach game the other week. I mentioned I was a Birmingham City fan and he said ah my good Friend Mikael played for you, then we both sang ‘Feed the forsse and he will score!’ Brilliant.

What do we think?
Having scored 33 goals in 110 appearances for the Blues in all competitions according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Forssell scored in 30% of his Birmingham City appearances. Furthermore, the former Blues attacker was Birmingham City’s top Premier League goalscorer in two separate seasons, outscoring any other Blues players in England’s top flight in both the 2003/04 and 2007/08 campaigns.
Considering the number of goals Forssell scored for Birmingham City during his time at the club, it may be fair to call the former Finland international a Birmingham City legend.
