Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Juventus are interested in signing City striker Gabriel Jesus this summer.
Jesus, who joined Manchester City from Palmeiras in 2017, has been in fine form for City this season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in his 24 Premier League starts, as well as a further five goals and two assists in six Champions League fixtures.
The 22-year-old Brazilian international has averaged an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.19 in the league, in addition to an even more impressive match rating of 7.77 in the Champions League.
According to Tuttosport, the forward’s performances have caught the eye of Italian giants Juventus, who are searching for a number nine to accompany their star-man Cristiano Ronaldo.
In reaction to the reports, which did the rounds on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to social media, with many stating their belief that City should not let Jesus go, while others thought that their club would not miss the striker should he depart.

What do we think?
With Manchester City facing a two-year ban from all European competitions, there is potential for some of City’s stars to want a move away from Manchester this summer.
Following the reported interest in Gabriel Jesus from Juventus, the £63million-rated forward may well be one of these players, as the lure of playing in Europe’s elite competition alongside Cristiano Ronaldo could be too good to refuse.
