Some Celtic fans haven’t been left too happy by the latest comments made by Southampton loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi.
Elyounoussi joined the Hoops from Southampton this past summer on a loan deal till the end of the season.
He was recently talking to The Celtic View (via 67HailHail) and revealed that ‘fitting in has been easy’ at Parkhead. He hailed the ‘amazing’ teammates and that he likes the city of Glasgow. The Norwegian also said that he can ‘feel the positivity from Celtic fans’.
Should Elyounoussi be signed permanently?
I think so
No, he hasn't done enough
A Hoops-related page relayed these comments on Twitter, but some Celtic fans aren’t too pleased by the Southampton loanee. They want him to produce more than he has in his loan spell so far.
You won’t be here in the summer pal so enjoy it

If we could sign him permanently that would be great the cost might be a problem but if we could ??still havent seen his best yet and he has a great attitude ??

Since arriving, Elyounoussi has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He has found the back of the net seven times, also racking up six assists so far.
In 10 Premiership appearances, Elyounoussi has directly contributed to a total of six goals already.
What do we think?
Elyounoussi, who is valued at £10.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), perhaps hasn’t played enough to make as much impact as the Hoops fans want, even though contributing to 13 goals in 20 games isn’t a bad output. He has missed 11 games due to injury, making it difficult for him to break into the first team.
His numbers are an improvement from last season when he hadn’t contributed to a single goal or assist for Southampton. If he stays fit and gets regular football, things can only get better.
