Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that on-loan Newcastle United man Danny Rose is unlikely to ever play for the North London club again.
According to Football Insider (via Ricky Sacks), Jose Mourinho has informed companions close to him that the 29-year-old defender will never play for Spurs again.
Rose is currently on loan at Newcastle United having signed for Steve Bruce’s side during the January transfer window after it was reported that he and Mourinho had fallen out. Mauricio Pochettino tried and failed to move the left-back on in last year’s summer transfer window and it seems as if Mourinho is looking to finally shift the defender.
Are you glad to hear that Rose might never play for Spurs again?

He is done as a top class player. He has shown consistently over the last two years how self centered he is.

Good riddance. A loose cannon for sure since injury. Very sad & wish him well but bridges all burnt at WHL

Hes finished, good riddance. His attitude reeked too. Cares more about moaning off the pitch than earning his worth on it.

Now this is a Jose I can get behind.

Jose deserves an extra years worth of time for this on its own.

These Spurs fans seem glad to hear that Rose is unlikely to play for the Lilywhites ever again.
What do we think?
In his Tottenham career, Rose has played 214 games, scoring 10 goals and providing 29 assists, but his poor form so far this season suggests that he is no longer at his best, so it is no surprise to hear that he will most likely be moved on.
