Would you take a prime Mauro Zarate back in David Moyes' current West Ham squad?Yes, he was class on his dayNo, he is vastly overrated |
The forward spent a season and a half with the Hammers between 2014 and 2016, having arrived from Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield and departing for Fiorentina having spent time on loan with QPR (per Transfermarkt).
In total, the 33-year-old featured just 29 times for the Hammers, during which he scored seven and assisted three (per Transfermarkt), leaving supporters fond of their former man.

What do we think?
As can be judged from supporters’ reactions following the club post, many feel that the Argentine striker was sold before he should have been by the club.
However, with just two goals and one assist over 12 league appearances for Boca Juniors so far this season (per Transfermarkt), it appears that the 33-year-old’s talents are waining.
