Spurs fans have been discussing some footage of Celtic defender and reported target Kristoffer Ajer.
The North London club have been linked with a move for the Norwegian international in the past week, so it is no surprise to see fans commenting on some of his highlights as a Hoops player. Since joining Celtic in 2016, the centre-back has gone on to make 129 appearances for the Scottish outfit, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
The 21-year-old is currently valued at £2.7 million by Transfermarkt, so he could represent a fairly cheap deal for the North London club should they make a move for him this summer. Although it is difficult to judge a player by his highlights alone, the footage of Ajer suggests that he is strong on the ball, will happily bring the ball out of defence with strong runs and is also defensively solid.

These Spurs fans clearly like the look of Ajer and would love to see him join the North London club this summer.
What do we think?
With Jan Vertonghen potentially leaving in the summer when his contract expires, perhaps Ajer could be the Belgian’s long-term replacement.
