Supporters of West Ham United have been discussing Sebastien Haller after a Twitter post on the Frenchman emerged.
On Tuesday, a tweet from a Hammers fan labelled the striker as the ‘most disrespected player’ at the club (per @TomWhu16), which led to some fans defending the Frenchman.

I said if he scores 12 goals this season he’s done well. The squad doesn’t support him enough to be that 20 goal striker we’ve been craving for.

Do you believe that Sebastien Haller has the potential to be a star player for the Hammers?Yes, he's got the right attributesNo, he's just really overrated |
With an average rating of 7.21/10 in the Premier League, the 25-year-old striker has been the best-performing player for the Irons this season on average (as per WhoScored).
However, while some supporters defended Haller, others slated their striker despite his strong average rating and status as the best-performing player in the league.
We can’t help with his first touch only himself bearing in mind he cost us over 40m I expect more, same with Anderson

What do we think?
Judging from the frontman’s average rating this season, it seems likely that Heller is contributing more than some supporters imagine he is.
However, with the Frenchman having had the second-most poor controls per game in the squad, with 2.1 in the Premier League on average (per WhoScored), it is also clear that Haller has areas of his game that he must improve upon.
