Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to Fernandinho’s post on Twitter, in which the 34-year-old shared an image of himself during training.
Fernandinho, who arrived at Manchester City from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013, has been in fine form for City so far this season, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.91 over his 23 Premier League appearances, as well as an identical rating across six Champions League fixtures.
However, what makes these ratings even more impressive is the fact that the defensive midfielder has often been deployed out of position, playing 27 matches from the centre of defence this term, mainly due to injuries sustained by Aymeric Laporte and John Stones.
In a recent post on Twitter, the £9 million-rated Brazilian shared an image of himself during training, with the City man looking rather incredulous with his hands on his head, asking fans what he may have seen to provoke such a reaction.
City fans flocked to reply to his message, with many making light of the midfielder’s question, while some even suggested that Fernandinho was looking at the City defence.

What do we think?
Despite Fernandinho’s advancing years, his performances this season have once again demonstrated just how important he is within Pep Guardiola’s side.
The 34-year-old has played 304 matches over his seven years with the club so far, scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists, however, after signing a one-year contract extension in January, Fernandinho’s time at City is not done just yet.
