Would you offer Carlos Sanchez a new contract to keep him with West Ham next season? No, absolutely notYes, useful player |
The 34-year-old defensive midfielder has been with the Hammers since he arrived from Serie A side Fiorentina in the summer of 2018 (per Transfermarkt).
Since then, Sanchez has made just 17 appearances for the Irons, during which he has neither scored nor assisted (per Transfermarkt), leaving supporters having seen enough.
Why can’t he go now….more use than a chocolate fire guard…

What do we think?
With the Colombian’s deal set to expire in the summer (per Transfermarkt), the report from football.london seems incredibly confident that Sanchez will no longer be a West Ham player by the beginning of next season.
With a 6.14/10 average rating over the six Premier League games that Sanchez has featured in so far this season, leaving the Colombian as the club’s third-worst performer in the league (per WhoScored), the reasoning behind supporters’ tweets is clear to see.
