Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest comments made by Egyptian winger Trezeguet.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying quotes made by Trezeguet to KingFut on his Villa Park future.
The winger claimed that he is “committed” to his current contract at the Birmingham club before adding that he is “completely focused” on playing for Villa in the Premier League.
Is Trezeguet good enough for Villa?
Yes, he's done alright
No, he needs to go
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were not pleased to hear about Trezeguet’s latest remarks.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:
Trezeguet: “I am linked to a contract for the next five years with Aston Villa, and I am committed to the contract. Playing in the English Premier League was a dream for me, so I am completely focused on that step.” [@King_Fut] #avfc

The 25-year-old joined the club in the previous summer transfer window from Kasimpasa for a fee of £9 million (per Transfermarkt). In his debut season at Villa, Trezeguet has only managed to score four goals and provide three assists in 31 appearances for the club in all competitions. Now that he has come out and shown his loyalty to the club, this has led to numerous Villa fans criticising Trezeguet for his poor season so far at the club.
Needs to improve a lot and impact games more on what I’ve seen of him this season he looks invisible and when he does get the ball he loses it so easily!!

What do we think?
It’s a shame that these Villa fans have been slating Trezeguet when all he was doing was saying how much he wants to play in the top division for the club. However, looking at his poor goals and assists record so far this season, it does make it understandable why these Villa fans wouldn’t want to see the winger play at the club for the foreseeable future.
