Spurs fans have been discussing some of the club’s signings in recent years and the idea of signing Luis Campos as a director of football in the summer.
A post from LastWordonSpurs lists some of the signings made by the previous head of recruitment Paul Mitchell during his time at the club, as well as some less successful signings which were made after his departure. Mitchell made the move to RB Leipzig after leaving the North London club, where he, in several fans’ opinions, continued his reputation for bringing in excellent players on cheap deals.
It is no surprise, therefore, to see Spurs fans keen to bring Lille’s Luis Campos to the club in the summer, as Spurs rumours have emerged in the past due to his links to fellow Portuguese Jose Mourinho. The 55-year-old has helped bring in and later sell talents such as Anthony Martial, Bernardo Silva, Fabinho and Thomas Lemar during his time with Monaco.
Do you think Campos could join in the summer?
Yes
No

These Spurs fans seem to agree that the club needs a director of football and Campos could well prove to be the ideal candidate.
What do we think?
If Spurs do manage to bring in Campos, it will be interesting to see if he is backed by Daniel Levy to bring in the players he wants, as he has had much success when given free rein to sign young talents during his time at Monaco.
