Spurs fans have been discussing a tweet from Giovani Lo Celso following the latest defeat against Wolves last weekend.
The Argentinian posted a tweet saying “never give up” following Sunday’s game, which has left the North London club five points adrift of the top-four spots in the Premier League. The 23-year-old has been impressive in recent weeks but is still yet to score or assist in the top flight.
Jose Mourinho opted to make the former PSG man’s loan deal a permanent deal during the January transfer window and the midfielder has been a regular in the Portuguese manager’s side ever since. Lo Celso’s performances in the Champions League especially have been impressive; averaging a superb 7.17 rating in that competition.
Was Lo Celso Spurs' best signing in the January window?

These Spurs fans are clearly still supportive of Lo Celso, with several suggesting that the 23-year-old has been one of the best parts of a poor season.
What do we think?
Lo Celso’s recent performances, most notably against Norwich and RB Leipzig, have suggested that Spurs have a real player on their hands and it will be interesting to see what the £45 million rated man can do in a full-strength Spurs side featuring the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.
