Spurs fans were shocked to hear that Jose Mourinho is not planning a summer overhaul at the North London club.
Following the 3-0 defeat against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, Jose Mourinho discussed some plans for the summer transfer window with the press and seemed to rule out a summer overhaul. He said: “I do not think so. This summer, unless something happens during the Euros, when we start we will have Sissoko, Kane, Son, Bergwijn, and Davies so that is massive.” per BBC Sport (via Ricky Sacks).
The North London club are currently eighth in the Premier League and have been knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League so far this month, but it seems as if Mourinho believes his squad will have enough quality next season when those currently out injured are back to full fitness.

Sissoko and Davies apart of old regime in decline, sometimes i don’t understand what he sees in them, need marquee signings for squad competition & replacements. Selling more than buy has left the squad short this season, using injuries as excuse.

These Spurs fans are clearly not impressed with Mourinho’s latest quotes and hope that a summer overhaul is still on the cards.
What do we think?
It seems strange that Mourinho would be willing to settle with his current squad for next season as if they suffer a similar amount of injuries, then surely it is a possibility that they will continue to struggle in the same way that they have in recent weeks.
