This comes after City fan Twitter account @City_Xtra shared a post on their page that included quotes originally said by the left-back to La Voz De Galicia via Sport Witness.
The Spaniard claimed that he is “still a Citizen” before adding that he will not “give up getting a place” in the team.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from City fans who were delighted with what Angelino had to say.
Here’s a sample of City fans responding to the post:
Angeliño:
“I went to Manchester when I was 16, and I got the thorn in my head from not settling down. But I’m still a Citizen and I don’t give up getting a place there.”

I kinda want him to return and be used as an attacking player instead of a LB

The 23-year-old, who is currently valued at £19.8 million according to Transfermarkt, joined Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season in the recent January transfer window. During his time in Germany, Angelino has managed to score one goal and provide two assists in just eight appearances for the club (per Transfermarkt). What do we think?
It’s great to see that Angelino is still working towards getting a place in the City squad for the future, as this shows that he is willing to fight for his place at a club he clearly wants to be at.
