The footage shows Hernandez pick the ball up in the Cardiff half then making a darting run to the penalty box before cutting onto his right foot and strike a wonderful shot at goal that the goalkeeper couldn’t stop. The 2016/17 season saw Hernandez score six goals and provide eight assists in 35 appearances for the club in the Championship (per Transfermarkt). Now that footage of Hernandez’s goal against Cardiff has been doing the rounds on Twitter once again, this has given lots of Leeds fans the opportunity to share their joy at the goal.
