Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays comments made by City winger Riyad Marhez.
According to the post, which was uploaded by City Chief on Twitter, Mahrez was questioned as to whether he would rather join Real Madrid or Barcelona, to which the Manchester City winger replied “Man City.”
In reaction to the tweet, fans of City have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their delight at the fact that Mahrez appears keen to stay at the club, while others have thanked the Algerian international for his impressive contributions for City throughout their 2019/20 campaign.

Mahrez has not only impressed City fans with his latest comments, but he has also done so on a regular basis on the pitch this season.
The £54million-rated right-winger has scored seven goals and provided 10 assists in 23 Premier League appearances, in addition to a further goal and four assists in his six Champions League fixtures, while averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.59 in the league and an even more impressive 7.87 in Europe.
As such, it is easy to see why City fans are so pleased with Mahrez’s recent comments, with it now appearing likely that they will continue to enjoy the winger’s performances at the Etihad.
