Liverpool fans have been pleading on Twitter for the club to sign defender Ben White this summer.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page asking their followers if they would take the Englishman at Anfield to replace current Reds defender Dejan Lovren.
Interestingly, it has been reported that the Reds have been tracking the defender, but it remains to be seen as to whether they’ll make a move for him.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who claimed that they would take White at the club.
Should Liverpool sign Ben White this summer?

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

The Brighton & Hove Albion player is currently on a season-long loan deal at Championship side Leeds United. The 22-year-old is current Leeds’ 5th highest-rated player so far with a season rating of 7.05/10 after 37 appearances according to WhoScored. White also currently has a pass success percentage of 85.3%. Now that the question has been put to Liverpool fans on whether they think White would be a suitable replacement for Lovren, should the Croatian leave the club, this has paved the way for lots of Reds fans to share their thoughts on the Englishman.
Looks absolute class

What do we think?
It’s nice to see how impressed these Liverpool fans are with White and his performances for Leeds so far this season. For them to suggest that he could be a suitable replacement for Lovren, who has been at Anfield since 2014, this shows that they have the confidence in White that he could become a regular playing figure at the club.
