Liverpool fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner’s latest Twitter post.
This comes after the German shared a post on his official Twitter page sharing his delight with his side’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Tuesday to head through to the quarter-finals.
The 24-year-old included two images of himself during the win over the North London club.

Werner, who is currently valued at £72 million according to Transfermarkt, has been on fantastic goal-scoring form so far this year, having scored 27 goals in 36 games in all competitions for the German side (per Transfermarkt). Now that the striker has taken to Twitter to share his joy with his side’s latest win in the Champions League, this has given plenty of Liverpool fans the opportunity to try and persuade Werner to join the Merseyside club.
