Spurs fans were frustrated to hear that Davinson Sanchez had become the latest injury-struck player after he missed Tuesday night’s game against RB Leipzig.
Jonathan Veal confirmed (via Daily Hotspur) on his Twitter account that the Colombian defender would be absent for the game against Julian Nagelsmann’s side. Although Veal’s tweet suggests that his injury is a minor one, it proved costly for Jose Mourinho, as his side were comfortably beaten 3-0 at the Red Bull Arena.
The Portuguese manager already has the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, and Steven Bergwijn out through injury, so to lose Sanchez is another blow for the North London club’s top-four hopes. The 23-year-old had impressed in his performances in the Champions League so far this season, averaging a 7.09 rating in his five appearances as per WhoScored, suggesting that he could have made a difference to Tuesday night’s result had he been fit.
Are injuries to blame for Spurs' poor season?

These Spurs fans are clearly fuming as Sanchez became the latest player to join the injury list.
What do we think?
Spurs have been desperately unlucky with injuries at times this season, but one silver lining of being out of the running for the FA Cup and Champions League is that their players should have enough time to rest and recover between each Premier League game, which should, in theory, lessen the amount of injuries they are getting.
