James Pearce has tweeted out that Liverpool could clinch the Premier League title at Goodison Park on Monday night if Manchester City fail to take more than four points from their upcoming fixtures versus Arsenal and Burnley. Everton will be desperate to prevent their local rivals from celebrating their first title since the 1989-90 season on their own patch but that is not to say if the Reds are in full flow they will be able to.
Remarkably, Jurgen Klopp’s side up until now have won 27 of their 29 league fixtures, losing just once at Watford last month. How do these Liverpool fans feel about the prospect of getting the job done just over the other side of Stanley Park?
Would you prefer to win the title at Anfield?

What do we think?
Based on the response, it’s safe to say these supporters would love to make history at Goodison Park in front of their rivals and perhaps there is not a better way for them to be able to finally lift the trophy. However, before attention turns back to the Premier League, the Reds take on Atletico Madrid in the second-leg of their UEFA Champions League tie on Wednesday night.
