Former England striker and BBC Sport presenter Gary Lineker took to social media in order to highlight that the FA Cup defeat at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night was Liverpool’s third in their last four fixtures.
The Match of the Day presenter, perhaps in jest also asked the question as to whether some wanted Jurgen Klopp out and his post has sparked quite the response from the club’s supporters. Most of whom replied with a hint of sarcasm.
Was Gary Lineker purposely looking to spark an angry reaction?

What do we think?
In our view, it would be crazy to think there would be any Liverpool supporters out there who have turned on Jurgen Klopp in light of this recent poor run of results. We believe the fact that it’s been mentioned, even in jest, highlights the reactionary nature of our sport these days. The Reds are on course to win their first-ever Premier League title this season and stand a chance of progressing through to the last eight of the UEFA Champions League still, therefore, it’s not all doom and gloom.
