Liverpool fans have flocked to Twitter to respond to the latest Twitter post shared by defender Andy Robertson.
This comes after the full-back shared a post on his official Twitter page shortly after seeing his side crash out of the Champions League thanks to a 3-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid at Anfield.
In his tweet, Robertson revealed that he was “gutted” to lose the match before adding how proud he is to be “a part of this team and club.”

The Scottish international played the full 120 minutes of the defeat in midweek that saw Jurgen Klopp’s side fail to progress through to the next stage of the competition. Robertson’s performance in the game earned him a match rating of 8.0 where he came close to scoring for his team by hitting the woodwork in the second half. After the match, Robertson’s post sharing his disappointment with the result gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their supportive messages for the player.
