Supporters of Everton have been slating Jordan Pickford after the Toffees’ latest outing in the Premier League.
During the tie with Manchester United on Sunday, the English goalkeeper picked up a 6/10 performance rating after conceding a goal that he should have done better with (per Liverpool Echo), leaving fans furious.
You just cannot defend Pickfords performance this season. Shocking.

Does Carlo Ancelotti need to sign a backup or a replacement goalkeeper in the summer?Backup, we should keep PickfordReplacement, Pickford's overrated |
During this season, the 25-year-old stopper has been the Toffees’ fifth-worst performer in the Premier League of those who have featured for the club, with an average rating of 6.32/10 (per WhoScored).
After keeping just eight clean sheets and conceding 47 goals in 33 appearances (per Transfermarkt), supporters were livid with the English ‘keeper.

What do we think?
With such a weak average rating for the season so far (per WhoScored), it is difficult to argue that supporters are not correct in their analysis of the stopper.
One thing that a number of supporters mentioned is that Pickford needs to have an appropriate backup, as there is only Maarten Stekelenburg as competition in the first-team squad currently (per Transfermarkt), which could be the answer.
