According to Birmingham Live, Aston Villa are planning on offering West Bromwich Albion’s Steve Hopcroft a role at the club. He recently resigned as the Baggies’ head of academy recruitment and is currently on gardening leave at the Hawthornes.
Last summer, Villa lured Mark Harrison away from their Midlands rivals and when he joined the club he spoke of the vision the hierarchy had for their football club and suggested that was a huge factor in his decision to make the move.

The story in the Mail so people don’t have to go reading it is it says he’s quit Albion but they haven’t let him leave and placed him on gardening leave instead. Obviously wanting compo for him to move to us.

Aston Villa may currently be in the relegation zone, however, their fans will take encouragement from the fact they are looking to make improvements behind the scenes at Villa Park. With the Premier League having been suspended, there will be no fixtures until at the earliest, 3 April 2020.
