Some West Brom fans have been reacting positively on social media following the news that Baggies manager Slaven Bilic has been named EFL Championship Manager of the Month.

The EFL announced Bilic as the winner of February’s Championship Manager of the Month award via their official website

The EFL’s website was full of praise the Croatian manager when announcing him as the winner of the award, stating that “Bilic’s side separated themselves from the chasing pack by garnering 16 points from seven games” during the month of February.

Some West Brom fans have also been commending the 51-year-old manager on social media after being recognised by the EFL for his efforts. Read the positive posts from some Baggies supporters in response to the news that Bilic has won this award in the tweets below.

Who is the oldest player to make an appearance in the Championship this season?

What do we think?

In addition to losing just one of their seven Championship games and winning five during the month of February, Bilic’s West Brom side conceded a total of just four goals in their seven Championship games in February, keeping a total of four league clean sheets in that time.

It may be fair to say that West Brom, who currently sit in second place in the Championship table, enjoyed a positive month in February. As a result, it may be fair to say that Bilic earned this Manager of the Month accolade.
