Some West Brom fans have been full of praise for The Hawthorns’ ‘amazing’ atmosphere on social media lately.
Footage of the Baggies’ fans in full song has been popular among some West Brom fans on social media of late. According to worldfootball.net, The Hawthorns sits right in the middle of the Championship table when it comes to stadium capacity.
The website lists the Baggies’ home ground as having a capacity of 26,445, which is a lower capacity than they’ve got listed for 11 other Championship teams at present.
Though their home isn’t the biggest in the Championship, it may be hard to argue that West Brom fans don’t harbour the ability to create one of the best atmospheres in England’s second tier at the moment, judging by some of the recent footage fans have been gushing over on social media.

Current Baggies manager Slaven Bilic has previously mentioned that the electric atmosphere that can be generated at The Hawthorns was “one of the reasons” that he originally chose to go to West Brom.
The Croatian head coach further went on to declare that The Hawthorns is a home ground “where you can really still use that kind of atmosphere to help you” when detailing his admiration for the Baggies’ home ground.
Given Bilic’s appreciation for the noise generated by his home fans, as well as his and his team’s success so far this season, the Baggies faithful may be encouraged to keep the noise up and continue taking pride in their atmosphere as the current league leaders carry on with their charge towards promotion from the second tier.
