Some West Brom fans have been sharing their appreciation on social media for Hal Robson-Kanu’s recent goalscoring performances.

West Brom have had a busy week of football recently, playing two Championship games in the space of four days. The Baggies managed to earn a full six points from each of their recent Championship fixtures, with Hal Robson-Kanu playing an important role in both wins.

Robson-Kanu managed to bag two goals in West Brom’s 3-0 win over Bristol City last Saturday. Meanwhile, the 30-year-old attacker also contributed to both goals in the Baggies’ 2-0 midweek win over Preston North End, scoring the first and making the assist for Jake Livermore to extend West Brom’s lead in the 45th minute.

The Welsh international has scored three goals in the past week, taking his Championship goals tally for the 2019/20 season up to 10. This means that Robson-Kanu is now the Baggies’ top goalscorer in the Championship this season, having now scored two more goals than Charlie Austin. The current season is also the first in the 30-year-old’s professional career in which he has hit double figures for goals scored.

Some West Brom fans have been sharing their appreciation for the impressive recent attacking contributions of Robson-Kanu on social media. Read the positive posts from some West Brom fans regarding the 30-year-old’s impressive week in the tweets below.

The Baggies’ nearest challengers for the 2019/20 Championship title, Leeds United, also took all six points from both of the Championship games that they’ve played in the past week. Despite that, West Brom have successfully maintained their four-point lead at the top of the Championship.

With Robson-Kanu scoring two of the Baggies’ three goals last Saturday, as well as both scoring and assisting in West Brom’s 2-0 win over Preston North End this past Tuesday, it may be fair to say that the 30-year-old attacker has been key for West Brom’s title charge in recent games.
