West Bromwich Albion extended their lead at the top of the Championship having beaten Millwall in stormy conditions. The effects of Storm Ciara saw the Premier League clash between Manchester City and West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium postponed, but the game at The Den went ahead.
Slaven Bilic’s side now boast a four-point lead over Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United, who were beaten by fellow promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening. Despite the positive mood around The Hawthorns currently, they themselves had been on a poor run of form, but they appear to have turned a corner after successive wins against Luton and now, Millwall.

The Brazilian, who is currently on loan from Sporting CP in Portugal, has scored five goals and provided 15 assists in 27 Championship appearances this season.
