Sheffield United fans were once again impressed with Dean Henderson this weekend as Chris Wilder’s side beat Bournemouth in the Premier League. The English goalkeeper is currently on loan from Manchester United, with his Sheffield United spell set to end in the summer.
However, this is Henderson’s second loan spell in a row with the Blades, meaning another stint at Bramall Lane is not necessarily off the cards for next season.
Many Sheffield United fans are still trying to convince the 22-year-old to join the Blades on a permanent deal. They praised his performance, and think that he should sign with them again in the summer. Others suggest that Manchester United would be a step down for the shot-stopper and that Sheffield United can offer him just as much as the Red Devils.

Do you think Henderson will return on loan next season?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Henderson has recently gone on record saying that he intends to someday play for Manchester United. The player said this while speaking to Football Focus (via The Mirror). This should surely be a clear indication to Sheffield United fans that a permanent deal may not be in Henderson’s sights, however, it doesn’t rule out a loan return next season.
