Some Bristol City fans have been sharing concerns about the potential result of their upcoming Championship game versus West Brom on social media as the fixture draws near.
Robins-focused journalist Gregor MacGregor recently brought to light the statistic that Bristol City have not seen a draw in any of their last 16 Championship fixtures, via a post on his Twitter account. The Bristol Post journalist then went on to question if the Robins could potentially end this run by drawing Saturday’s game versus the league leaders.
The Robins will go into today’s game sitting in seventh place in the Championship table, 10 points behind West Brom. Some Bristol City fans shared their lack of optimism going into the game in response to MacGregor’s tweet. Read the unoptimistic posts from Robins fans prior to the weekend’s game in the tweets below.
Can Bristol City earn a result against West Brom this weekend?YES, BRISTOL CITY CAN EARN A RESULT FROM THIS GAMENO, BRISTOL CITY WILL LOSE THIS GAME |
#BristolCity haven't drawn any of their last 16 Championship games – since the 0-0 draw at home against Nottingham Forest on 23 November, the game before City lost 4-1 at the Hawthorns. Draw on the cards tomorrow?

Until we strengthen the midfield I can’t see City getting anywhere near teams like WBA tbh.

I would bite your hand off for a draw tomorrow Gregor!

Our midfield is powderpuff currently. That’s where we’ll lose the battle, same as against Leeds
Don’t think it’ll be that one sided though. Would take a draw. Expecting a 2-0 defeat

What do we think?
Bristol City currently sit just one place outside of the play-off places in the Championship table. Saturday’s game versus the current league leaders may provide the Robins with an opportunity to earn an important result as they continue their push for a play-off place.
With West Brom boasting a clear lead at the top of the table and unbeaten in four, it may be fair for Bristol City fans to go into Saturday’s game with slight pessimism about their chances of securing a result.
