Spurs fans were delighted to see the club post footage of Dele Alli’s goal against Chelsea from their win in 2018, ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge this weekend.
The England international netted a superb double in Spurs’ 3-1 win, including a delightful touch and finish, which is shown in the tweet from the club’s official account. The 23-year-old has come under criticism of late for his performance and reaction to his substitution during Spurs’ 1-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in midweek but fans will be hoping that the creative midfielder is back to his best in Saturday’s game.
So far this season, Alli has averaged a 6.93 rating in all competitions; contributing eight goals and four assists in all competitions and he may be the man to step up in the absence of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, both of whom are set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury.

Alli is Spurs’ top scorer that is currently available, so they may well be reliant on him producing the goods if they are going to take all three points in the clash at Stamford Bridge, where a win would be enough to push Mourinho’s side into the top four.
