Some West Brom fans have shared praise on social media for their Croatian playmaker Filip Krovinovic, as the club shared a new interview featuring the 24-year-old on their official club website.

Krovinovic has been enjoying a spell of positive form for the Baggies in recent weeks, stating that “even the best players in the world need games and to be playing all the time to reach their best levels”.

The playmaker has earned a rating of 7.24 or higher for each of his last five Baggies performances, according to Whoscored.com. Krovinovic had only earned a rating that high on two other occasions this season prior to his recent impressive run of form.

Joining the Baggies last July on a season-long loan deal from Portuguese club Benfica, Krovinovic went on to state that he “will let the fans decide if these last few months have been my best since joining on loan”. Some Baggies fans have taken to Twitter following Krovinovic’s interview to praise the Croatian. Read some West Brom glowing appraisals for Krovinovic in the tweets below.

What do we think?

As the comments from some West Brom fans in the tweets suggests, it may be fair to say that Krovinovic has brought his game up to a higher level in recent weeks. In addition to his impressive recent Whoscored.com ratings, Krovinovic has also scored one goal and made one assist within those last five games.

Prior to his last five games, Krovinovic had made just one assist and scored one goal in across his other 22 Championship appearances this season. The 24-year-old’s improved performances have resulted in an increase in his output in recent weeks and may have helped to endear him even more to the Baggies faithful of late.
