Is Byers' absence detrimental to Swansea?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Swans fans will miss Byers’ presence in the team. He has already played 33 games this season for Steve Cooper. In those matches, he has managed to score five goals and register one assist.
Byers, who is valued at £450k (as per Transfermarkt), became an important figure in Graham Potter’s team last season and has only become more established under his new boss this year.
The 23-year-old’s absence could be a huge setback for the Swans, however, it does pave the way for Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher to fight for a spot in the team.
