I’ll always look back and wonder “what if” we’d given @billysharp10 a fair go in the Premier League?

Sharp, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), left Southampton in the summer of 2014 when he joined Leeds United. But during his stint at St. Mary’s, Sharp had made a short yet sweet impact. He made only 18 appearances for the club but racked up ten goals and came up with three assists as well, including a brace against Portsmouth which some fans above still fondly remember.
He had spent a loan stint at Nottingham Forest in the 2012-13 season. In the 2013-14 campaign, he was loaned out to two clubs – Doncaster Rovers and Reading.
For Sheffield United this season, Sharp has scored one and has a tally of two assists while playing 16 games.
What do we think?
Sharp’s goalscoring record at Southampton was very efficient, considering he had a very healthy goal-per-game ratio of 0.55 with ten goals in 18 games. His consistency does indeed make Sharp worth remembering sweetly on his birthday.
