Sheffield Wednesday face Reading at Hillsborough this weekend and the Owls are in desperate need of a victory if they’re to keep their play-off hopes alive. Garry Monk has been the subject of criticism in recent weeks as his side have won just one of their last six Championship fixtures.
Speaking to the club’s official website in the aftermath of their defeat at Kenilworth Road on Wednesday, Monk reiterated the point that he is willing ‘to fight for this club and this team’.
Should Monk be sacked immediately?
Yes
No
However, despite the fighting talk, these fans have reacted angrily to the former Birmingham City manager’s comments.
Tells us all the Problems ‘but we never see any sign of Solutions!!!!

It’s so depressingly bad watching us that I’ve already missed enough games this season to have made it not worth me having a season ticket, so I haven’t renewed.

Would love a manager to be open and honest let us paying fans know the problems he sees ?? #swfc

What do we think?
The Owls currently find themselves in 12th place, and given their poor run of form has severely dented their chances of reaching the play-offs, you can understand why the supporters have grown frustrated by the recent performances.
These fans have clearly had enough and believe it’s time for Monk to go, however, we’ve seen how quickly things can change in this division and so we wouldn’t be pushing the panic button just yet.
