During the build-up to tonight’s clash against Braga, Steven Gerrard spoke to the media in his press conference. He insisted that the side needed to eradicate individual errors against the Portuguese side.
After seeing their side complete an incredible comeback against Braga in the first leg of the knockout-stage tie, Rangers fans watched on as the Gers drew St. Johnstone in the Premiership. It was a result that saw the side drop 12 points behind the league leaders.
The two goals scored by St. Johnstone came courtesy of two Nikola Katic mistakes.
When Gerrard claimed that the side needed to wipe out their errors, one fan thought it was an obvious statement. However, a few fans don’t think it is possible to avoid these mistakes. They don’t think the side are good enough defensively.

You can’t eradicate mistakes it’s inherent within our game. What you can try and do is mitigate the effects of our mistakes. Confidence goes some way of minimising mistakes, something we seem to have lost this year. Scoring goals breeds confidence.

That’s near enough impossible way our shambolic defence.

Do you think Edmundson should start over Katic?YesNo |
One fan calls on Gerrard to stop making mistakes himself. Others would like to see him play George Edmundson instead of Nikola Katic. They think he will help prevent big mistakes.
I’d rather Gerrard focused on his own individual errors.

Then start Edmundson!
Leaving Polster, Hastie & Mebude at home in the youth team friendly when we may need the bench to make an impact is poor!

Edmundson in for katic??

What do we think?
Gerrard’s words seem obvious. However, preventing mistakes isn’t as easy as flicking a switch. Hopefully, for Gers fans, the side are able to show that they can prove themselves in a big match without making any mistakes.
