A lot of Leeds United fans have rushed to a tweet from The Square Ball mocking Brentford after Luton Town beat them 2-1.
The tweet includes a snapshot of Brentford’s tweet after going 2-0 down. They did pull a goal back through Ollie Watkins but couldn’t find that equaliser, with the result leaving them six points behind Leeds – and these Whites fans love it.
Are Brentford a genuine promotion threat to Leeds?

What do we think?
Before the Bees played the Whites at Griffin Park, they were only two points behind Marcelo Bielsa’s men, but since that 1-1 draw, Leeds have won two and the Bees have drawn twice and lost the other, putting a considerable gap between the Whites and Thomas Frank’s side.
West Bromwich Albion also did Leeds something of a favour by beating Preston North End, while Huddersfield Town won 2-1 at home against Bristol City.
In fact, the only result that did not go Leeds’ way was Nottingham Forest’s win over Cardiff City as they moved above Fulham and just three points behind the Whites.
However, a win against Middlesbrough tonight will extend Leeds’ gap to the chasing pack.
