Rangers’ draw against Aberdeen was probably enough bad news for Gers fans on the weekend. But things were made even worse when Burton Albion tweeted out the scoring record of their new recruit Jamie Murphy, who is valued at £900k (as per Transfermarkt). The player has now scored two goals in two appearances for Burton Albion. The winger is currently on loan from Rangers until the end of the season.
And while many fans would be happy to see their players finding success while out on loan, some were left frustrated. Not frustrated that he was scoring, however, more that he wasn’t scoring for them. Some want to bring him back and think he would seriously improve their current side.

What do we think?
The fans are clearly frustrated with players like Ojo. Perhaps someone like Murphy could have been a useful player against Aberdeen on the weekend. But Steven Gerrard can’t look back on that now. He must work with the squad he has picked going forward.
