It was an incredible night at Ibrox as Rangers completed a second-half comeback to take control of their Europa League round-of-32 tie against Braga. The Gers will head to Portugal next week with a one-goal advantage, however, Braga can take solace in the fact that they scored two away goals.
However, Rangers must now prepare to make the trip to Braga without their star man, Alfredo Morelos. Morelos picked up a yellow card during last night’s match, his fifth of the competition this season.
His yellow card, which he picked up for dissent in the first half, has resulted in him being slapped with a one-game ban.
Indeed, Morelos’ performance and the yellow card he picked up infuriated fans. They are sick and tired of him needlessly picking up yellows.

Can’t even defend him now, it’s just stupidity

Are you struggling to defend Morelos' discipline?
Yes
No
Am I the only one who thinks that no Morelos next week might actually help us?

Morelos has halved in value. I give him £22.5m now, just marginally better than Edouard and a little bit behind Griffiths

We gave them far too much respect man. They are a cracking side but have issues defending easy over the top balls I’ve always said Hagi should be central and look what happens when he’s moved Morelos looks about 2 stone overweight man god knows whats going on

Blessing in disguise Morelos being suspended next week. Kamberi deserves a chance

I just think Morelos needs time off
Last season when he got suspended Gerrard benched him for a solid 4-6 games after and he came back scoring
He’s also diving around too much and he’s gonna get sent off

What do we think?
Steven Gerrard won’t be dropping Morelos by choice next week. However, with the Colombian only scoring once so far in 2020, the manager may have question marks regarding Morelos’ mindset.
Perhaps a sit-out isn’t the worst thing in the world?
The immediate criticism of Morelos does sound harsh when you consider his goalscoring record, though. He has already scored 29 goals this season in just 42 appearances.
But, his eight yellow cards and two red cards do cast a shadow over an otherwise stellar campaign.
