Fans of QPR have been reacting to a post on Twitter, highlighting the impressive performance of Dominic Ball during the Hoops’ 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Ball, who joined QPR from Rotherham in the summer, has featured 23 times for the Hoops this season, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.53 in the Championship.
However, the 24-year-old has particularly impressed in his last two outings – QPR’s 4-2 victory over Stoke and their 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest – in which he received match ratings of 7.00 and 6.91 respectively.
One tackle from the Forest game stood out in particular, in which Ball makes a perfectly-timed last-ditch challenge on Forest’s Alfa Semedo, who is running through on goal in the QPR penalty area.
After posting Ball’s impressive stats against Forest on Twitter, QPR fans flocked to the replies, with many stating their appreciation for his goal-saving tackle in the match, while others reflected on the potential that the former Northern Ireland U21 international has shown so far this season.
