Yesterday, Rangers legend Sir Walter Smith celebrated his 72nd birthday. The Scottish manager won 21 different trophies with the Gers, 10 of which were league titles.
In 1992/93, Smith helped lead Rangers to success in the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
Rangers fan Michael Seafarer tweeted to wish the legend a happy birthday. Many other fans responded to his tweet, sharing their warm wishes as well.

Who would you rather have at the helm right now?
Sir Walter Smith
Steven Gerrard
Others even admitted that they would welcome the manager back to the club right now. It appears as though they are not pleased with the work Steven Gerrard is doing at the moment. The side has already dropped 10 points in the league in 2020.
Come in and help us sir Walter! happy birthday

What do we think?
Hopefully, for Gers fans, Gerrard can do the business tomorrow as the side travel to Braga for the second leg of their Europa League tie.
If they end up getting knocked out, however, fans might become increasingly serious about wanting a new manager to be brought in.
