Fans of QPR have been reacting to a post on Twitter by the Second Tier Podcast in which an audio clip taken from their show discusses the potential of Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Osayi-Samuel, who is valued at £675k by Transfermarkt, has been in fine form for the Hoops this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in 25 Championship appearances.
In reaction to the 22-year-old’s recent performances, the Second Tier Podcast panellists discussed just how bright Osayi-Samuel’s future could be.
They stated: “On his day, Osayi-Samuel is a real talent… he’s quick, strong and a brilliant dribbler and he can score goals as well.”
“When QPR played Brentford… he absolutely destroyed Rico Henry. I know they still lost, but Rico Henry is regarded as one of the best full-backs in the league, and he absolutely rinsed him, he’s got that ability.”
They continued: “He’s only young, so he’s only going to get better next season… He could be a top, top player.”
While fans of QPR have been delighted with the right-winger’s contributions this season, with many reacting positively to the coverage of their player, some have been wary of just how much the light is being shone on Osayi-Samuel, with the worry that a bigger club may swoop in for their star.

If he can improve his stamina and become a bit better at passing he will be a Prem player 100%

No LB in the league can handle him, his pace is scary

He’s slow, can’t dribble, weak and can’t score. Leave him at QPR I say.

What do we think?
Both Osayi-Samuel and Eberechi Eze have highly impressed for QPR this season, with the two scoring 16 goals and providing 10 assists in the league between them. Eze ranks as the Hoops’ best performer, with an average WhoScored match-rating of 7.45, while Osayi-Samuel is third, with 6.91.
If QPR can hold on to both of their young talents this summer, then next season could be very bright indeed.
