Fans of Millwall have been reacting to a clip of club captain Alex Pearce on Twitter, in which the 31-year-old passionately addresses the Millwall faithful following their 1-0 Championship victory over Preston North End.
Pearce has featured 21 times for Millwall this season, with his club paying tribute to his leadership and character.
The Lions currently sit in 10th place in the Championship, four points behind sixth-placed Preston North End, and have conceded just 21 goals since Gary Rowett took charge last October.
Pearce and his fellow defenders’ efforts have not gone unnoticed by the Millwall fans (and ‘keeper Bartosz Bialkowski), with many taking to social media to show their appreciation for the Lions captain.
Could Millwall reach the play-offs?

What do we think?
Pearce’s Championship experience could prove invaluable in Millwall’s push for the play-offs, having reached the same stage of the season while at Derby in 17/18, coincidentally under Millwall’s current boss.
