Some Celtic fans have been left talking about the latest tweet former player Chris Sutton has put out.
Sutton’s latest tweet talked about and how Celtic’s loss to Copenhagen on Thursday was a ‘reality check’ for Neil Lennon’s men after the Hoops were knocked out of the Europa League, going out 4-2 on aggregate.
Was the Copenhagen loss a 'reality check'?
Yes, Sutton is right about it
No, it wasn't that bad
When Sutton put out his tweet, it left many Hoops fans talking. They had a variety of things to say about it.
Seems like Celtic have had a few too many reality checks last couple of years. When do we stop having them?

It’s been a reality check the last 3 seasons at this stage now

Kinda fed up with these reality checks Chris, especially when we know this was a great opportunity to get to the last 16, first time in many years. Hey ho December 29th was a reality check,we reacted so well, let’s hope this can galvanize the team and keep that cup run going.

We’ve had three already this season and learned from none of them
Cluj
Cup Final
29th— Conor O’Neill (@McLovinit92) February 27, 2020
This was Celtic’s first loss of the calendar year and their second Europa League defeat of the season. The first one had come against Cluj in the last game of the group stages.
The Hoops had lost to Rangers towards the end of 2019 and that was only their second loss of the Premiership season, with their only other defeat coming against Livingston early in the campaign.
What do we think?
It is fair to say that the Hoops fans have every reason to be angry and frustrated. But the team needs to move on and seal the Scottish Cup and the Premiership. They are 12 points clear at the top in the league and face St. Johnstone in the quarter-final of the cup on Sunday.
