Some Celtic fans have been left fuming following charges that the Scottish FA has issued on them for incidents against Partick Thistle and Hamilton recently.
It was recently confirmed that the Hoops failed to ensure that their players “conduct themselves in an orderly fashion”. One of the charges pertains to incidents in their Scottish Cup win over Partick Thistle and the other concerns their weekend tie against Hamilton in the Premiership.
Should Celtic publish a statement about these charges?
Yes because its unfair
No, there is still a hearing to go
When Superscoreboard posted about the news, it left many Hoops fans fuming. They feel that the club doesn’t deserve to be hit by the charges.
Shambles!

Whatever happened with the anti-Celtic Muir, what happened between the Rangers and Hibs benches was 50 times worse. Let’s see the punishments.

A bit odd that this is coming up now, don’t you think? @Clydessb? Someone not happy that LG not banned? Muir was fully aware of the hand and took decided that no action was necessary. What could possibly have caused this to be actioned after all that time? #journalism101

The game against Partick Thistle saw Jozo Simunovic feature in the defence for the Hoops. They had played with a 4-4-2 shape, with Simunovic having come on early in the first half for Nir Bitton. The Hoops won the game 2-1, thanks to goals from Callum McGregor and Leigh Griffiths.
As for the game against Hamilton, the Bhoys won that by a 4-1 margin. They did go a goal down in the first half, but after Jamie Hamilton was sent off, they scored four goals in reply to keep their lead at the top of the table to seven points.
What do we think?
The SFA has also said that the charges will be contested in a hearing on Thursday, February 20. And it isn’t just Celtic who are facing a potential fine of £20,000, with Hamilton also facing possible punishment. So Hoops fans should know that this is far from over and they aren’t the only club involved.
