Some Celtic fans have been raving about Georgios Samaras on the former Greece international’s birthday.
Samaras turned 35 on Friday and to pay tribute to their former player, the Celtic Twitter account posted about the retired Greek forward.
Would you like Samaras back at Celtic?
No, move on from him
Won't mind that
When Celtic fans read the post, it left them raving about Samaras. Some would be happy to have him back at the club.

Celtic signed Samaras permanently in 2008 from Manchester City following a short-term loan deal.
Samaras’ spell at Celtic had ended in the summer of 2014, when he joined then-Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.
During his spell at Celtic, Samaras made 243 appearances in all competitions for the club. He scored 71 goals for them, picking up 49 assists. As per Transfermarkt, Samaras is currently the vice-president of Greek side OFI Crete having retired in 2018.
What do we think?
It is very unrealistic to ask for a player to come out of retirement, even if Hoops fans are only being sarcastic towards a player they still seem to be fond of.
