Some Celtic fans have been raving about their side after taking a look at Lazio’s performance in Serie A so far this season.
The Biancocelesti are currently third in the Scudetto race currently behind Inter and Juventus. While Juve and the Nerazzurri are level on points and only separated by goal difference, Simone Inzaghi’s men are one point behind the pair.
Can Celtic win the Europa League this season?
No question about it
No, that's asking a lot!
Celtic Nation posted about this on Twitter. It got many Hoops fans talking and they could only reminisce about how they beat Lazio on both occasions in the Europa League this season.
Was just having a discussion about this with a lazio fan! Beating them home and away is my highlight of the season so far

The Hoops have beaten Lazio both in Glasgow and Rome this season. Both of them came by a 2-1 margin and that had a role to play in the Biancocelesti’s elimination from the Europa League group stages.
The game in Glasgow had seen Lazio take the lead through wing-back Manuel Lazzari. But they came back from a goal down thanks to strikes from Ryan Christie and Christopher Jullien in the second half.
In Rome, Ciro Immobile scored early in the first half, only for James Forrest to equalise before a stoppage-time winner from Olivier Ntcham helped them to a memorable victory.
What do we think?
Celtic fans should be very proud that their side managed to beat a potential Italian champion on two occasions. They can take inspiration from that and try to go as far as possible in the Europa League.
