Some Celtic fans have been laughing at a video of previous comments made by Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd, following the club’s recent 4-0 win over Motherwell in the Premiership proved the ex-striker’s predictions wrong.
The Hoops are currently at the top of the Premiership table and have a seven-point lead ahead of their nearest rivals. A brace from Odsonne Edouard and a goal each from Callum McGregor and Leigh Griffiths handed them an impressive win at Fir Park.
Celtic fans: Do you sympathise with Kris Boyd?
Never have, never will
Yes, can't blame him
After the game, a video of Boyd which had predicted a gloomy outlook prior to Celtic’s recent fixtures resurfaced on Twitter, with the Hoops taking maximum points in certain ties that he had regarded as potential banana-skins – leaving fans to revel in his poor foresight.

Boyd is a former Rangers player and was at the club on two occasions– from 2006-2010 and then from 2014-2015. In both of these stints combined, Boyd made a total of 212 appearances in all competitions for the club and scored 115 goals for them.
But Boyd didn’t have a good record against Celtic during his playing days. He played 17 times against the Hoops, but couldn’t even score a single goal against Rangers’ arch-rivals. Out of those 17 games, he won only four games for his side and lost ten.
What do we think?
The video seems to make Boyd look a bit foolish, while Celtic fans have every reason to laugh and poke fun at him considering it is them who are at the top of the table, and not Boyd’s former club.
