Supporters of West Ham United have buzzed over Bobby Zamora’s tweet and pleaded with the Englishman to make a comeback to the Hammers.
On Thursday night, the former striker responded to a question on who was the club’s top scorer in ‘the great escape season’ of 2006/07, to which he replied: “Me of course” (as per Bobby Zamora), which had fans asking him to return.

Would you take a prime Bobby Zamora back over Sebastien Haller?Yes, would do in a heartbeatNo, Haller is better than Zamora |
The former West Ham star spent four-and-a-half years at Upton Park between January 2004 and the summer of 2008, arriving from Tottenham Hotspur and leaving for Fulham (as per Transfermarkt).
During his time with the Hammers, Zamora featured in 148 games, in which he bagged 38 goals and 13 assists (as per Transfermarkt), which had many calling for his return.

What do we think?
While 51 goal involvements in 148 outings is not overly prolific, it is clear from the reaction from some supporters that it was his work rate and desire that they miss. It seems that the West Ham faithful think that Zamora had it in abundance.
