Some Celtic fans have been left impressed by manager Neil Lennon’s comments about the side not being complacent.
Lennon’s Hoops picked up an impressive 5-0 win over Hearts on Wednesday and the manager was talking to reporters recently about whether his team could become complacent. But the Bhoys manager said that it isn’t the case and the players will try to ‘increase the lead’ as much as they can. He went onto say that they aren’t taking ‘anything for granted’.
Would complacency be a problem for Celtic?
No, Lennon will make sure of that
Complacency is an issue
When Superscoreboard posted these comments on Twitter, many Celtic fans were left to laud Lennon and his management.
Lennon been in scottish football for 20 years and has been the real driving force behind celtics dominace over the last 20 years his commitment to the club is very underestimated

And if any of them are complacent they will simply be dropped for a player of equal ability. Celtic can do this unlike all the others. It’s a nothing question move on desperados

Lennon returned to the club on an interim basis in February last year after Brendan Rodgers had left the club to join Leicester City, before his move to Parkhead was made permanent in the summer.
His previous stint at Celtic had seen him win three Scottish Premiership titles and he also won them the Scottish Cup in the 2010-11 season. At the end of last season, the Hoops won the Cup and Premiership under him.
What do we think?
Lennon is right to say that the players will not get complacent. It will give out a message to not just the fans, but to the players to make sure that they don’t slip up in the title run-in.
